HEALING COVENANT (YOUR RIGHT TO BE HEALED)


Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Mathew 15:22-28
¶ And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
 ¶ But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
 ¶ But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
 ¶ Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
 ¶ But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
 ¶ And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
 ¶ Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Galatians 3:13-14
¶ Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
¶ That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

One of the major requirement for healing is as stated in Exodus 15:26 above: "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God..." in the original Hebrew text it is literally "If listening you will listen to the voice of the LORD your God." The word listen repeated twice to tell us how vital listening is. And it's not just to listen, but to listen and obey. It is _shaw-mah'._ You have two ears. Don't listen to GOD with one and another thing with the other. You can never flow with God that way. Give Him your 100% attention.
Jesus is the final fulfillment of God's healing covenant for His people. Pay attention to Him. On the cross, Jesus not only bore (past-tense) our sin, but He also took (past-tense) our infirmities & carried (past-tense) away our diseases. He not only provide forgiveness, but He also provided healing!
God's provision for us through His son Jesus is not only in the spiritual realm, but also in the physical realm. That was a covenant commitment God had made with Israel (Exodus 15:26). For this reason, we do not read in the New Testament that any Israelite came to Jesus for healing and was refused! There was no such record.
See Matthew 14:35-36
The people just had to touch His cloak and they were at once healed. Sometimes it's almost like all of them know that healing is their right. So, they just walk, touch his cloak believing that they must get what belong to them. It is called determination.
However, Jesus' attitude towards the Gentles (those who were not Jewish) was different. The response of Jesus to the Canaanite woman we read in Matthew 15:22-28 above who was not Jewish, but came to Jesus for the healing of her daughter who was possessed by devils shows us that Jesus covenant obligation is not to those who are not of the house of Israel. Unless we understand the nature of covenant commitment, it's hard to understand Jesus' reply to her. Jesus has a standing covenant with Israel by which He is committed to be their healer. Therefore healing is children's bread. This woman had no covenant, no claim to that covenant because she is not a Jew. But oh yes... She had faith. And her faith successfully saw her through.
The woman's faith called Jesus' compassion, even though He has no covenant obligation to fulfill with her.
Beloved, Remember that God is still the healer of His people. Both Jewish and non Jewish. To anyone who confesses the Lordship of Jesus and believe in the saving power of God through Jesus can now partake in the blessing of Abraham. If you are born twice you have the healing power of GOD with your name boldly engrafted on it. No sickness is beyond the power of GOD to heal. You are now the righteousness of GOD in Christ Jesus therefore healing is your own.
2Cor 5:21
If the Woman who had no covenant of healing with GOD got her healing by faith, how much more you who is born again and has your name engrafted on the covenant power to heal? Healing is your bread. The devil is a liar. All you have to do is position yourself to receive your healing.
Jesus is committed to healing you!

You are just forever the best. Now, LORD, I read in the book of Daniel chapter 1 where Prophet Daniel and the three Hebrew boys were in school in Babylon and You gave them favor with the dean of the school, the prince of the Eunuchs. (Dan. 1:9). Holy Spirit my comforter and greatest teacher, I ask that you give me favor also with every teacher. Thank You for the favor ready given; I have it now. In Jesus name. HOW TO BE GRACEFULLY BEAUTIFIED If you have the power to change something about yourself and your body what will that be? I want to start by thanking papa Elmond Isaiah for such a rare privilege given to me to teach in this blessed platform of TMS. Before we discuss beauty, how to style yourself, how to be gracefully beautified, the first thing we need to address is do we truly know we are beautiful? Because, you can only give value to something you think is valuable. So I'll start by telling you tonight that the answer to the question I asked should be “nothing!” You should not need to change anything about you. There's room for improvement, of course but having nothing to change means accepting yourself wholly and caring for yourself out of love and not out of fear.
