TOPIC: THE LORD IS MY BANNER (JEHOVAH NISSI). 

SPEAKER: Mrs Metlae. 

Prayer: Father God, we thank you for today and for the topic we are about to learn.
We pray that we learn everything you have prepared for us this evening. In Jesus Christ name, we pray, Amen.

Exo 17:15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner
This was after the Israelites defeated the Amalekites in Rephidim

God actually did it for them, since when you read Exodus 17:11, it says when Moses held his hand the Israelites prevailed but when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed

But through the wisdom of Aron and Hur Moses's hands were lifted up until the going down of the sun.
Now we see the significance of lifting of hands in prayer or worship. If we lift our hands in reverence to God it is another way of worship which is called warfare worship.

Psalm 144:1 says the Lord teacheth my hands to war and my fingers to fight
The Lord my banner

 In the former days when Israelites go to war, they always had a banner bearer who is to help them locate a safe place to run to when the war becomes heavy on the warriors.

In our dispensation the banner bearer is the Holy Spirit, he is always pointing us to Jesus
Pro 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

In Jesus we can always hide from anything that wants to destroy us or that wants us to doubt God and His power
Psa 20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And *in the name* of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

I highlighted in the name because that's where we live according to Acts 17:28, which means we are  safe everywhere and every time because of the name of Jesus
Isa 54:17 no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me," says the LORD.

Just because we are *in* the name which is a dwelling place for us.

This really means we can't catch any disease or sickness, they cannot be in us who are in Christ
According to Isaiah 53:5 we are already healed, no disease has a right to your body because according to 1Corinthians 3:16 we are the temple of God for the Spirit of God dwells in us
We have a right to healing that is declared to us by our father in heaven in Isaiah 53:5, unlike the woman from Canaan in Matthew 15:22 we are the children, so everything designed by God it is for our good, anything that does not bring forth goodness to us does not come from God

Jeremiah 29:11-13, says that the Lord have the thoughts of peace towards us. Like you know it is difficult to have sickness and have peace same time
For this reason we have to stand in the word of God, who is God himself, stand on His promises  because they stand forever. Every word that comes from God shall come to pass
In Exodus 17:14 God told Moses to write a memorial in a book and rehearse it- (learn with repetition) for he will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Amalek is anything that attacks you when you least expect it, when you're relaxed or resting. So in this verse God says he will remove it in our sight, Just like in Exodus 14:13 where God told Israelites through Moses that they shall no longer see the Egyptians and their chariots.

God loves us so much that he totally removes what goes against his plans for his children

Jesus is our banner declaring victory and as I said earlier Holy Spirit is a banner bearer.

According to Zachariah 6:4 it is not by might, nor by power but by the spirit of the Lord
To see Jesus as a banner, to know him as the banner, to get the revelation that Jesus is a banner and to accept him as the banner we need nothing but the spirit of God
Jeremiah 17:14- heal me Lord and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved, for thou art my praise

Jesus is our healer and nobody else or anything can heal like he does
We are more than conquerors through him who loved us

We conquer sicknesses and diseases through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah
To wrap up, we must activate our right to healing through faith by declaring and speaking the word of God over everything that goes against the will of God in our lives.
I would like to stop here,  i thank you all.

THE MYSTERY OF SOUND (TMS)  SOAKING Habakkuk 2:20 "But oh! God is in his holy Temple! Quiet everyone—a Holy silence. Listen!" Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Soaking! Although the word soaking is not really a scriptural metaphor, it is a term we use to describe a moment of rest, waiting in stillness for the Holy Spirit to fill us again with the Father's love. It can be after prayers, worship session etc. Or you just wait in silence for Him. The key to the “secret place” is “soaking!” Soaking is when you rest in God's presence doing nothing but listening and listening to Him alone. "Soaking" is another term for "active rest". When you live in love the Lord will cause you to become strong inside yourselve (s). You will be completely good and clean for God, who is our Father. The king's Word to us reads: LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD. PSALM 150:6 KJV. Precious People, we shall consider the topic: THE GARMENT OF PRAISE. Music is a living thing, she consistently speak to us and desire that we know and understand   every single word she says and be a channel or a medium through she can reach all people to bless them and relief them from the various struggles and stresses of this life. TMS Prayers Academic Success Daniel 1:1-21 Lord Jesus, I thank you and I praise you for this day. Thank you for loving me with an everlasting love. Thank you for always taking good care of me. You are just forever the best. Now, LORD, I read in the book of Daniel chapter 1 where Prophet Daniel and the three Hebrew boys were in school in Babylon and You gave them favor with the dean of the school, the prince of the Eunuchs. (Dan. 1:9). Holy Spirit my comforter and greatest teacher, I ask that you give me favor also with every teacher. Thank You for the favor ready given; I have it now. In Jesus name. Lord Jesus, I also read, that when their three years of training were over, the three Hebrew boys were found to be ten times better and smarter than the rest (verse 18-20). TMS MEDITATION God had you in mind Ephesians 1:3-6 Beloved, God didn't just save us from eternal damnation out of pity for our souls or because of His compassionate nature that we may not perish. NO. Not just that. The salvation package for humanity was a preplanned event long before creation took place. God has planned that Long before He laid down earth's foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and Holy by His love. Long, long ago God decided to adopt us into His family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure He took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift-giving by the hand of His beloved Son. This is Amazing really! How blessed is God! And what a blessing He is!
