Apollumi and Perissos

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

We should never be ignorant of what the devil and his agents are up to each time they come around. Devil comes around in various ways. First to steal, then to kill, finally to destroy. The word destroy here is a Greek word for *apollumi.* And it means to abolish, to put out of the way entirely. Metaphorically apollumi* means to devote or give over to eternal misery in hell! And you don't want that. Do you???

This is exactly what the devil aim at each time he comes to you and in whatever form he comes. He is fully aware that he won't get you that easy until he first steal your hunger for God, then proceed to affect your spiritual understanding (sunesis), then your sight (vision) etc. Then the anointing on you. After all these he will then injects his poison and kills -- kills the anointing and your communion with God, and eventually your spiritual life.
You see how wicked the enemy is right? But the Good news in all of these is that we have the Grace of GOD sufficient in us to help us dictate his moves and to say NO to his tricks, only if we continue to mortify the desires of the flesh, setting our affection on things that are above, exactly where Christ is seated at the right hand of GOD in heaven where we too belong.

Friend, we rather wholeheartedly follow Jesus who is the only way and who is life eternal Himself. Who is ready to give us life in it abundance (perissos).

Certainly, anything outside this life from Jesus who is the life, leads to destruction (apollumi).

When the devil want you to spend eternity with him in hell, in everlasting torment, Jesus is freely offering you abundant life eternal. This abundant life Jesus offers is not limited to only having your needs met in surplus here on earth. NO. The abundance Jesus is talking about here is a Greek term for *Perissos.* And Perissos means superadded - much more than its necessary. Supremely, exceeding abundantly.
This word *Perissos* also means superior, extraordinary, surpassing.
It means uncommon pre-eminence, superiority, uncommon advantage, more eminent, more remarkable, more excellent in all things. These all and beyond are what deal Jesus is in with you as soon you take Him more seriously.

Compare the two:
Apollumi and Perissos.
Which do you want?

What the devil only has and wanna give to you, subtly or violently taking you to himself? Or what Jesus has and much more to give to you through loving you just for who you are?

THE MYSTERY OF SOUND (TMS)  SOAKING Habakkuk 2:20 "But oh! God is in his holy Temple! Quiet everyone—a Holy silence. Listen!" Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Soaking! Although the word soaking is not really a scriptural metaphor, it is a term we use to describe a moment of rest, waiting in stillness for the Holy Spirit to fill us again with the Father's love. It can be after prayers, worship session etc. Or you just wait in silence for Him. The key to the “secret place” is “soaking!” Soaking is when you rest in God's presence doing nothing but listening and listening to Him alone. "Soaking" is another term for "active rest". The king's Word to us reads: LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD. PSALM 150:6 KJV. Precious People, we shall consider the topic: THE GARMENT OF PRAISE. Not just that. The salvation package for humanity was a preplanned event long before creation took place.
