Love The Most Excellent Way!

1John 3:16-17
This is how we've come to understand and experience love: _Christ sacrificed his life for us._ This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves. If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God's love? It disappears. And you made it disappear.

THE MYSTERY OF SOUND (TMS)  SOAKING Habakkuk 2:20 "But oh! God is in his holy Temple! Quiet everyone—a Holy silence. Listen!" Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Soaking! Although the word soaking is not really a scriptural metaphor, it is a term we use to describe a moment of rest, waiting in stillness for the Holy Spirit to fill us again with the Father's love. It can be after prayers, worship session etc. Or you just wait in silence for Him. The key to the “secret place” is “soaking!” Soaking is when you rest in God's presence doing nothing but listening and listening to Him alone. "Soaking" is another term for "active rest". When you live in love the Lord will cause you to become strong inside yourselve (s). You will be completely good and clean for God, who is our Father. So then nobody can ever say that you have done anything wrong. And you will stand in front of God when our Lord Jesus comes. Jesus will return to this earth, with all those who are his own. Pentecost

PENTECOST Today is the 31st of May. It's a day that is very strategic not only to TMS but to the entire New Testament Believer and the world at large. Today is 50 days away from Easter. And by implication, today is Pentecost Day and the celebration of it is currently ongoing in Israel 🇮🇱 for today and tomorrow (Usually Sunday through Monday). Today marks the end of the waiting of the Apostles and disciples to receive the Holy Spirit. TMS has a program carved out for such a season and it's called THE SOUND OF HEAVEN. We will celebrate this festival from next year by the Grace of God. Amen. Pentecost comes from a Jewish harvest festival called Shavuot . The apostles were celebrating this festival when the Holy Spirit descended on them. It sounded like a very strong wind, and it looked like tongues of fire. These two phrases are combination of two separate words “New” and “Song”. In defining song, we can simply say it’s making melodies and rhythms with words. It is a composition of lyrics and music that is purposeful. The word “New” simply means fresh, pure, something that has not been in existence. Old will therefore be the opposite of New. Combining them together, new song would mean a fresh composition of lyrics and music. Note that this may be a literal meaning whereas a new song goes deeper than that. Excellence is what it feels like to have a true taste and feels of God’s mind and desire over everything. It is quite unfortunate that many people including those in the kingdom are always satisfied with the state of moderate quality called ‘mediocre’ in about 85% of their life’s engagements. They have little or no passion and self-motivation driving them for a purposeful life, so they just stop at the middle of the road for anything and feels that’s their best.
