Graceful Beauty- How to be Gracefully Beautified

HOW TO BE GRACEFULLY BEAUTIFIED
If you have the power to change something about yourself and your body what will that be?
I want to start by thanking papa Elmond Isaiah for such a rare privilege given to me to teach in this blessed platform of TMS.

Before we discuss beauty, how to style yourself, how to be gracefully beautified, the first thing we need to address is do we truly know we are beautiful? Because, you can only give value to something you think is valuable. So I'll start by telling you tonight that the answer to the question I asked should be “nothing!”
You should not need to change anything about you.
There's room for improvement, of course but having nothing to change means accepting yourself wholly and caring for yourself out of love and not out of fear.
Some ladies go to the gym because they're scared of getting fat.  They think fat makes them look ugly. That's not so true. When you go to gym, let it be because you believe you're beautiful, your body is beautiful and it deserves all the care in the world.
And so we open with this phrase:
Nothing outside God defines me, I am beautiful and of immense value
I need you to repeat that phrase
Your shape doesn't define you,
Your weight doesn't define you,
Your asking color doesn't define you,
Nothing outside God defines you.
You wonderfully and fearfully made – Psalm 139:14
You need to deal with how you see yourself because how we see yourself will reflect in the way you carry yourself. The way you dress, the way you talk, etc.
Now I need you to affirm that again; Nothing outside God defines me, I am beautiful and of immense value.
Ladies, the man you're in a relationship with doesn't define you. Only God does.
Some of you take pride in your relationships and are miserable outside of it because you think it’s what defines you.
Now that we've established that, how do we care for this body we have proclaimed is beautiful and worthy of care and attention?
How do we dress our bodies to look like a million dollars?
I'll love to stress this, Whatever God entrusts in your care is like a talent that should be cultivated and that includes our bodies.
He loves us and calls us beautiful, He loves you the way you are.
Our God is a God of excellence. Your body should be taken care of to attain excellence!
Taking care of your diet is pleasing and acceptable unto God
Bodily exercises profits little – 1 Timothy 4:8 (there's still profit)
God's temple shouldn't be smelly. He loves to see his temple beat and in good shape. He loves you the way you are doesn't mean you'll be eating shawarma by 11pm especially when you're not an ectomorph.
He loves you the way you are doesn't mean you'll dress haggard and come out looking like a low budget masquerade
Let me stress this, being haggard has nothing to do with modesty or decency in dressing. Far from it!
No matter how well a singer has scored a song, if he comes out looking rough, you'll not freely sit under his ministration. Please don't be that type of a singer.
Be the lady that enters a place and heads are turning not because you're exposing flesh or looking rough but because you look amazing,  smelling great, and carrying yourself like a lady.
Basic etiquettes for a lady
A lady should not reveal too much flesh.
If you ever dress and feel the need to reveal cleavage, and thighs please abort that mission!
Sisters, please stop jumping gutters.
Graceful ladies don't jump gutters.
There's always an alternative to the gutter, even if you're with a man, let him wait while you go and turn. You're a queen, so act accordingly
Mind the way you talk.
I used to be a lousy person until I understood that Queens don't talk carelessly or shout on top of their voices.
Daughters of Zion if you don't see yourselves as queens, then that’s a problem needing attention.
Some ladies take pride in saying; "they know I don't take nonsense, I can beat anybody up." Michelle Tyson, well-done ma
It's you that's always in the middle of a fight, swearing up and down.
Beloved, queens have conflict resolution skills. Know when to walk away and when to hold a discussion.
Stop dragging your feet on the ground when you walk.
Queens walk in a coordinated manner please. You're not jaguar. Relax and walk calmly and coordinated.
I have an exercise for you; close your eyes and imagine how you'd walk, talk, eat, dress and discuss with people if you were a queen with a crown, servants at your beck and call,  a palace,  with people looking up to you. How would you do those things? Will you ever find a queen dragging rice at an event?
You can dress up with a N500 top you bought in the market and an old skirt but because you've washed and ironed them, Smelling nice and walking like there is gold on the floor you're stepping on, Someone will be somewhere admiring you and hoping to gather N5000 to buy your top.
Packaging is not living a fake life!
A fake life is when you pretend to be who you're not, packaging is knowing who you are and presenting that self in the most beautiful way possible.
You see this thing where people compliment you and you say "I just bought the top for 500 in the market" even when they didn't ask you, STOP IT! I SAY STOP IT! It's not humility, its foolishness. You're going somewhere, you may not look like it now but you'll get there.
Then those people who you've told all your packaging secrets without them asking you will not be able to accept where you've gone to.
Please, allow them to admire you. They admire that dress you're wearing because of who is wearing it not the dress on its own. The dress may be cheap but are you cheap? No! You're the beauty of everything around you.
When you wear a N500 top, it becomes designers because YOU are wearing it!
Learn to accept compliments without playing yourself down.
Nothing outside God defines you, you're beautiful and of immense value.
